The common areas of the house are free to use for everyone in band! Although a majority of the time the common areas are used by the members of the house to study, lounge around, watch movies, do karaoke, workout, and more, the common area of the house is also used for individual section events on an occasional basis! We pride ourselves on being the social hub of the band, and maintaining an atmosphere anyone can enjoy.
Because the residents of TH are also students and not just musicians, we have a special practice room designated for instrument storage and practice. TH also has a quiet hours policy after 11PM on weekdays and 1AM on weekends throughout the house. The basement, however, is designated as a 24/7 no quiet hours area to ensure practice and recreation can be done at any hour of the day. Residents are also provided space for bike or scooter storage in the basement.
What do the common areas look like?
The common areas are constantly updated by the house to fit its needs. Whether it be reorganizing the living room for a Mario Kart tournament, setting up a staging area for a live performance or social event, or just for everyday relaxing, the spaces are flexible.
